I have an existing program that was coded in C#, using Microsoft Visual Studio. The program will fill out a web-based text form with predetermined text, and send it to a list of users whose URLs are stored on a remote MySQL database. Once the web form has been filled out and submitted, the software will write the date the form was filled and write it to the database, as well as set the set the sent flag to true. You will add logic to the program to follow up with users that did not respond to this initial message.
You will check the web-based message inbox in order to determine whether or not a reply has been received. You will simply read the contents of the inbox folder, and determine whether a response was received or not. If a response was not received by a specific user, then that user will be followed up. If however the specific user did respond, that person will never receive follow-up messages again. This function should be to follow up with all users who did not respond despite receiving an introduction message.
You will be working with a small team of programmers using subversion on a hosted solution. Once you have got this working, you will merge your code into the live code.
• Create logic to check whether a reply has been received or not
• Populate a web form and send messages to a list of users who did not reply (code exists for this)
• Write appropriate data to the database confirming a follow-up was sent
• Merge your code into the live code using subversion
Payment will be made in full when you integrate your source code with the live code. Again we are working with subversion, so that you can download the current source code, and check in your source code when it's ready. Once your work has been verified, you will be paid in full, and given a high customer feedback rating. We would like to find reliable developers that we can work with into the future.
