I need a Windows 10 desktop application that can take live input from one or two standard webcams and show them side-by-side as a stereoscopic feed. The display must hit high frame rates while maintaining full 4K resolution, because the end use is real-time preview on a large-format headset. The core features I’m after are: • Dynamic gap control – I want to set the exact pixel separation between the two views on the fly. • Parallax shift – independent horizontal and vertical offsets to fine-tune depth alignment. • Barrel/pincushion distortion correction – adjustable in real time so I can match different lenses. • Ability to toggle between a single-camera mono preview and true dual-camera stereo without dropping frames. • Full-screen borderless output option. Internally the app should talk directly to the webcams through DirectShow, Media Foundation, OpenCV, or any other low-latency library you’re comfortable with, as long as the resulting pipeline stays smooth at high FPS. GPU acceleration is welcome if it helps keep the render loop under budget. Final deliverable: a compiled installer plus clean, well-commented source that I can build again in Visual Studio.
