I’m building a virtual-reality program that helps children on the autism spectrum recognise stress triggers and practise evidence-based coping skills in a safe, engaging space. The prototype must run natively on Oculus headsets and be architected in Unity for easy expansion to additional scenes, data streams, and hardware later on. For this first milestone I need three fully interactive scenes, each with age-appropriate lighting, sound, and sensory density controls that can be toggled at runtime: • School classroom • Park / playground • Home setting Within every scene a child should be able to trigger guided coping modules: • Breathing exercises (paced audio/visual prompts with haptic feedback) • Visualisation techniques (calming imagery overlays) • Mindfulness practices (grounding narration and focus objects) While the child engages, the system must capture and timestamp: • Emotional reactions (via gaze, controller pressure, optional affective sensors) • Physical movements (headset and controller tracking) • Verbal responses (speech-to-text hooks for key phrases) All raw events should be written to a local JSON log and mirrored to a cloud endpoint I can plug into my ABA analytics dashboard. An in-headset facilitator panel for therapists to bookmark noteworthy moments is also required. Core tech stack: Unity 2021+ LTS, C#, Oculus Integration SDK, XR Interaction Toolkit. Please structure code into clean, documented scripts, use ScriptableObjects for configuration, and keep all assets under 200 MB to ensure smooth deployment on Quest 2. Acceptance criteria 1. Each scene loads in under 3 seconds and maintains 72 FPS. 2. Coping modules can be invoked, skipped, or repeated without breaking immersion. 3. Event logs contain accurate timestamps and unique user/session IDs. 4. A build APK and full source project are delivered, ready for side-loading. If your team has shipped similar therapeutic or serious-game experiences and can meet these targets within six weeks, I’m ready to get started.

With over a decade of experience in full-stack architecture and high-scale systems, I understand the importance of creating a virtual reality program like the Unity VR Autism Support MVP. Your project goal of helping children on the autism spectrum recognize stress triggers and practice coping skills in a safe space is crucial, and my background in building complex systems for over 1 million users positions me well to tackle the challenges of this project. For strategic insight, ensuring that the coping modules are seamlessly integrated into each scene is key to maintaining user engagement. I have successfully developed interactive apps for large user bases, proving my ability to handle this level of complexity and interactivity. I invite you to connect with me to discuss your project roadmap further. Together, we can ensure the successful development and deployment of the Unity VR Autism Support MVP.

I have carefully reviewed your requirements and understand you need a VR therapeutic application for Oculus with interactive environments, coping modules, and accurate data tracking. With 9+ years of experience in Unity development, I specialize in VR systems, real-time interactions, and performance-optimized applications. As a technical lead, I ensure clean architecture, scalable design, and stable delivery. I will develop three immersive scenes (classroom, park, home) with adjustable sensory settings, integrate guided coping modules (breathing, visualization, mindfulness), and implement structured data logging (JSON + cloud sync). The system will include therapist controls, smooth interaction flow, and maintain performance targets (72 FPS, fast load times). Code will be clean, modular (ScriptableObjects), and ready for future expansion. Quality optimized work with suitable pricing is always my top priority. Come inbox & let’s get started. Hi, this is a meaningful project, and it needs to be built carefully so the experience feels safe, responsive, and reliable, not overwhelming for the child or clunky for the therapist. I can help you develop this MVP in Unity (2021+ LTS) for Oculus Quest, focusing on performance, clean architecture, and scalability from day one. I’ve worked on interactive applications where real-time input, structured data logging, and smooth UX were critical, so I understand how important stability and clarity are here. For your three scenes (classroom, park, home), I’ll design controlled sensory environments with adjustable lighting, audio, and density settings that can be toggled in real time. The coping modules (breathing, visualization, mindfulness) will be modular and reusable, allowing them to be triggered, skipped, or repeated seamlessly without breaking immersion. On the technical side, I’ll implement structured event tracking (gaze, movement, inputs, optional voice hooks) with accurate timestamps, session IDs, and JSON logging, along with a clean API layer for cloud sync. The facilitator panel will be lightweight and intuitive, enabling therapists to bookmark key moments during sessions. Happy to discuss further and get started : ) Regards, Rohan

Hi, Building a therapeutic VR environment for ASD requires a deep focus on sensory regulation and deterministic performance to prevent immersion breaking latency. At Plan D Studios, we bring 12+ years of experience in Software Development and Virtual Reality, specializing in Unity 3D architectures that utilize ScriptableObjects for highly modular, data driven scene management. My 6 Week Engineering Roadmap: Modular Scene Architecture: I’ll develop the Classroom, Park, and Home settings using Occlusion Culling and baked lighting to ensure a locked 72 FPS on Quest 2, with real time sensory density toggles managed via a global state controller. Coping Modules: Implementation of C# Programming scripts for haptic guided breathing and visual overlays, ensuring all interactions are non jarring and age appropriate. Data & Analytics: I’ll build a robust event bus system to capture gaze, movement, and verbal data, piping it into a local JSON log and a cloud ready REST API for your ABA dashboard. Facilitator Panel: A non intrusive XR interface for therapists to bookmark timestamps without disrupting the child’s flow. We handle all Game Development in house to ensure clinical-grade reliability. Regarding the affective sensors: Do you have a specific hardware SDK (like HP Reverb G2 Omnicept or a wrist based heart rate monitor) you want integrated into the C# event stream for this milestone? Regards, Haider

Hi , I’m a strong fit for this project—I’ve worked on interactive Unity-based applications with real-time input tracking, structured data logging, and modular scene design, making me well-suited for building a scalable VR therapeutic prototype. I have solid experience with Unity (C#), XR Interaction Toolkit, and performance optimization for standalone VR (including Quest-class devices). For your prototype, I’ll build three optimized scenes (classroom, park, home) with configurable sensory controls, ensuring smooth 72 FPS performance and fast load times. The coping modules will be designed as reusable, interruptible systems with clean state management to maintain immersion. I’ll implement a structured event logging pipeline capturing gaze, movement, and interaction data with accurate timestamps and session IDs, storing locally in JSON and syncing to your cloud endpoint. The facilitator panel will allow therapists to tag key moments in real time without disrupting the experience. I’ve handled similar structured, data-driven interactive systems where reliability, clarity, and extensibility were critical, and I’ll ensure clean, well-documented code using ScriptableObjects for easy expansion. Let’s connect to align on details and timeline so we can move forward within your six-week target. Best Regards, Fizza
