looks like 90% of you use some automated response system or are a bot, if you want the job, you better contact me, as the proposal system is a joke. paying a flat $150 usd thats it, no more, no less. exactly 150usd. I have an open-source FreeCAD project on GitHub ([login to view URL]) that already holds the individual mounting parts for the Opendash-VHM visual hardware manager. What I need now is a clean, production-ready assembly that brings everything together into one printable dashboard plus a detachable 1.75" gauge-pod. the gauge pod must mimic current available podded devices ont he market, similar to autometer gauges in sizing. The build involves six separate modules: a Waveshare 4.3-inch LCD, a 2.8-inch Waveshare LCD, and three 1.75-inch Waveshare pods. Every board’s buttons and memory-card slots must remain reachable once the pieces are printed and installed. Device clocking is already fixed in the save file; you may reposition components for better ergonomics or cable routing, but do not alter their set orientation. Because the final parts will be 3D-printed, please design with FDM tolerances in mind—reasonable wall thickness, clearance for fasteners, and minimal unsupported overhangs. The current .FCStd file in the repo shows baseline placement, so you can build directly on that. Deliverables • Updated FreeCAD (.FCStd) assembly of the full dashboard and the separate gauge-pod • STL& STEP exports ready for slicing • Brief notes on any placement tweaks and recommended print orientation Acceptance criteria • All six boards fit securely without stressing connectors • Buttons and memory-card slots are fully accessible from the front or sides • No interference with preset clocking angles -separate single pod for 1.75 gauge, already provided in save file. -must be uploaded to github, so must be familiar with using github. Once the test prints confirm those points, the project is complete. If you are not a BOT, and know FreeCAD contact me, I get so many BIDs that are mostly bots or unskilled looking for work, I'm only interested if you can nail this out. feel free to contact me.

Hi, I submitted an issue on your GitHub repo a few days ago and wanted to follow up here as well. I've reviewed the repo, opened the FCStd file, and understand exactly what's needed: a housing assembly that brings all six boards into one dashboard unit with the three 1.75" gauge pods detachable, all buttons and card slots accessible, FDM tolerances considered, and everything pushed directly to the repo as FCStd, STL and STEP. I have 8 years of CAD experience designing enclosures and assemblies in SolidWorks and Fusion 360. FreeCAD is new to me but the parametric workflow is the same and I'm confident I can deliver. Flat $150 works. Feel free to reach out.

Hi there, I've reviewed the GitHub repository and project requirements. Before confirming, I have a few technical questions: Which exact Waveshare 4.3" and 2.8" LCD models are being used? Can you provide product links to verify mounting-hole locations and connector clearances? What FDM printer/nozzle size should I design around (0.4 mm standard, or something else)? Do you have preferred fastener sizes (M2, M2.5, M3) for mounting the displays and enclosure parts? Should the dashboard be designed as a single print, or can it be split into multiple printable sections for easier printing and assembly? What is the maximum available dashboard footprint or mounting space? Are there any cable-routing requirements or connector-side clearance constraints I should account for? For the 1.75" gauge pod, do you want it to match a specific Autometer-style pod reference, or should I use a standard market-style pod profile? Do you already have test-print dimensions/tolerances that worked well for previous parts, or should I use standard FDM clearances? Which branch should I use for commits, and do you prefer pull requests or direct commits to the repository? Is there any existing vehicle/dashboard mounting interface that the final assembly must attach to? Once I confirm these details, I can proceed with a production-ready FreeCAD assembly, STL/STEP exports, and GitHub delivery. Best regards, Nadarajan Kiruba

The critical part of this project is not simply assembling the existing components—it is ensuring that all six modules fit cleanly while maintaining access to every button, connector, and microSD slot without disturbing the predefined board orientations. I reviewed the project description carefully, and my approach would be: 1. Audit the current FreeCAD assembly and existing mounting components in the repository. 2. Rework the dashboard packaging to optimize ergonomics, cable routing, fastener access, and FDM printability. 3. Integrate the detachable 1.75" gauge pod while preserving compatibility with the existing hardware layout. 4. Validate clearances, wall thicknesses, mounting features, and assembly accessibility before generating final exports. My background is in mechanical product development and manufacturable CAD design, including enclosure packaging, 3D-printed assemblies, and prototype-to-production workflows. I am comfortable working with GitHub-based projects and updating source files directly within the repository workflow. Deliverables: - Updated FreeCAD (.FCStd) assembly - STEP files - STL files ready for slicing - Print orientation recommendations - Brief design-change documentation - Up to 2 revision rounds Scope is based on the current repository and project description. Additional features or redesign requests would be quoted separately. No physical fabrication or testing is included. Final schedule will be confirmed after reviewing the source files. Before proceeding, are the mounting hole locations on all Waveshare boards considered fixed, or is minor adjustment of mounting geometry acceptable if it improves printability and service access?

I have worked on similar multi-module FreeCAD enclosure and PCB integration projects where fixed board orientation and FDM constraints are critical, and I can build a clean top-level assembly for your Opendash-VHM without altering the predefined clocking angles. My focus will be on improving ergonomics, cable routing space, and creating strong, print-ready mounting solutions for all six modules while ensuring full accessibility to buttons, SD cards, and all I/O ports without disassembly. The 1.75” gauge pod will be redesigned as a detachable Autometer-style unit with proper scaling and FDM-safe wall thickness and tolerances. I will optimize the full design for 3D printing with minimal overhang issues and proper fastener clearance, and deliver a structured FreeCAD assembly along with STEP and STL exports ready for slicing, plus clear notes on print orientation and any mechanical improvements. I can start immediately from your existing .FCStd and provide a production-ready result within scope. Best Regards, Hasan

Hi, I've reviewed your requirements and the GitHub repository. This is the type of FreeCAD work I regularly handle—taking existing component models and turning them into a clean, manufacturable assembly that is actually ready for FDM printing rather than just looking good on screen. I understand the orientation of the boards must remain unchanged, while placement can be optimized for ergonomics, cable routing, and service access. I'll build the complete dashboard assembly around the existing OpenDash-VHM components, integrate the Waveshare displays and 1.75" pods, and ensure all buttons, connectors, and SD-card slots remain accessible after installation. I'll also verify clearances, wall thicknesses, fastener locations, and printability to minimize support requirements and avoid interference issues. Deliverables will include the updated FreeCAD (.FCStd) files, production-ready STL and STEP exports, GitHub upload/commit of the completed work, and notes covering any placement changes and recommended print orientations. The separate 1.75" gauge pod will be completed as requested while maintaining compatibility with the existing design direction and market-style pod dimensions. I am comfortable working directly from existing FreeCAD projects and GitHub repositories, and I can complete the project for your fixed budget of $150. If the goal is to get a functional, printable assembly instead of another copy-paste proposal, I'm interested. Thanks.
