According to the .stl model I can recognise some issue on the wall thickness, fillets and so on. After that i would suggest a double check of the manufacturing capabilities for tolerances according to ISO 8062. Quality has a big impact on costs. Then we'll need to define drafting angles and parting lines, as well as feedings positions, which normally shall be agreed with the manufacturer. For these reasons it is necessary to check the interfaces of this part to the rest of the assembly. Are there additional machining operations on the part? Then we need to define a machining datum....
