Given value of Heat Source: Laser power, Laser scanning speed, layer thickness and Hatch spacing and laser scan strategy ( back and forth).
Using Comsol Multiphysics software, simulate the heat profile of each layer (layer Thickness) of cube metal.
Metal cube is manufactured by Closed chamber with inert gas flow. So please apply boundary condition based on your experience.
Material is Titanium Cube. Dimension : (10 mm by 10 mm) and 30 mm Hight. see attach file. heat source is fiber laser, laser power is 300 W( watt) and laser scanning speed is 800 mm/s. Laser moving back and forth see attach file to understand.
Given info, simulate the heat transfer ( consider Conduction) in COMSOL Multiphysics. Result plot maximum . minimum temperature . avoid convection heat transfer
