Cinematic Short Film Cinematographer

I’m gearing up to shoot a narrative short and need a cinematographer who can give it a true feature-film look from the very first frame. We’ll be covering both controlled indoor setups and fast-moving exterior sequences, so versatility is essential. You should be comfortable working with DSLR or other mirrorless bodies for tight spaces and run-and-gun moments, but I’m also counting on you to bring—or confidently handle—drones and gimbals for dynamic tracking shots and aerial inserts. If you have additional cinema-camera options, let’s discuss how they can elevate the project, but they’re not a strict requirement. Pre-production collaboration will include refining the shot list, identifying lighting needs for each location, and locking in a color pipeline that preserves a rich, cinematic palette through post. During production I’ll rely on you to lead the camera team, pull off smooth transitions between indoor and outdoor lighting conditions, and capture enough coverage for seamless editing. After the shoot, please provide properly organized footage, synced audio, and basic LUT references so my editor can dive straight in.
