I’m producing a feature-length documentary that tells the personal story of a famous individual, with the lens squarely on their influence and legacy. Pre-interviews are complete, access to the main subject is confirmed, and three key locations (childhood hometown, current workspace, landmark venue) are already cleared for filming. The shoot calls for a documentary-style cinematographer who can move quickly between intimate sit-downs and atmospheric B-roll while maintaining a cohesive visual language. 4K capture, dual-system sound, and on-site data wrangling are essential; a portable lighting kit and gimbal or shoulder-rig setup will keep us nimble in mixed environments. Deliverables • 4K RAW or ProRes footage, labelled by date and scene • Separate 24-bit WAV files, time-code synced • A brief shot log with notes on takes, interviews, and ambient sound clips Acceptance criteria: All media must be handed over on two mirrored SSDs at wrap, with file structures matching the shot log so post-production can begin immediately. Principal photography is slated for a five-day window in late September. Travel, accommodation, and per-diem are covered; exact dates lock once crew availability is confirmed.
