Job Description:
We're looking for Network Engineer level1 in Dublin, Ireland. This is an onsite job and person must be there in Dublin
Duration: 1 year l, full time
Start: ASAP
Languages Required: English
Valid work permit and CCNA certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• To liaise with customers to troubleshoot and resolve faults, and act as an internal point of escalation for technical issues
• Pro actively handle customer queries by keeping them fully informed of progress, ensuring that requests are answered/fulfilled to the customer's complete satisfaction in each and every instance
• Act as an interface with service suppliers, ensuring that incidents which need to be passed to them for resolution are done so professionally with a view to rapid response and to manage the same to successful resolution
• Perform day to day management of network infrastructure and service provision to include, maintain, use & configure network management tools to monitor network status, and ensure maximum network performance and service availability
• Pre-installation building, configuration and testing of network equipment
• Co-ordinate planned works on the network, ensuring they are carried out in a controlled, timely manner with minimum service downtime
• Participate in an on call rota for the provision of out of hours support
• To identify and develop areas where personal knowledge is lacking in order to offer the most effective and efficient service to our customers
• Create, update and manage network documentation, ensuring it is accurate and complete.
Key Skills:
○ Network switching and routing infrastructure (particularly Cisco, Microtik, and Dell; mostly LAN)
○ Firewalls (WatchGuard, FortiGate, Cisco etc)
