Five endpoints is a clean scope for this. You get a real proof of concept without the complexity that shows up once you're managing 50+ devices and need staged rollouts. For Windows, I'd set up Autopilot enrolment, compliance policies (BitLocker, Defender baseline, patch compliance), and wire Conditional Access so non-compliant devices are blocked from M365 before sign-off. Defender for Endpoint onboarding goes through Intune once the enrolment profile is live. Mac side depends on what you have: if there's Apple Business Manager, DEP enrolment is straightforward. If not, manual enrolment works fine at this scale. What you'd get: - Intune enrolment profiles for all device types - Compliance and configuration policies (Defender baseline, encryption, patch) - Conditional Access policy scoped to the 5 endpoints - Defender for Endpoint onboarded and reporting - Runbook so internal IT can maintain it after handoff 220 CAD, 5 days (realistically 2-3 for setup and config, the rest for testing and handoff docs).
