AWS Environment & Git Workflow Auditor (High Volume Site Discipline) AWS + Git discipline + environment auditing - US Citizens only 1. Git / Source Control Discipline • Daily commits required before end of shift. • Commit messages must be meaningful. • No private or alternate repositories permitted. • No local only work beyond same day development. • Branch naming must follow a simple enforced pattern. • All merges must be clean and conflict free. • Weekly tag or release marker for traceability. • CEO receives a simple weekly Git sync confirmation. 2. AWS Access & Security • IAM roles must be minimal and correct. • No wildcard permissions (*). • No unused roles, keys, or policies. • All access changes must be logged. • Developer performs corrections within his role permissions. • Auditor guides CEO through superuser level corrections live. • Auditor does NOT perform superuser changes himself. 3. Environment Transparency • All active resources must be visible and documented. • No hidden services, buckets, repos, or pipelines. • No unapproved third party integrations. • No credentials stored outside AWS Secrets Manager. • No environment drift — everything must match the documented architecture. 4. Developer Workflow Expectations • Developer must be reachable via Zoom/Meet during scheduled audit windows. • Developer performs all corrections within his permission scope. • Developer provides proof of corrections (screen share, logs, commit IDs). • Developer does NOT bill for delays or personal events. • Developer does NOT expand scope or claim “development work.” • Developer does NOT request additional hours for audit related corrections. 5. Auditor Workflow Expectations • Auditor identifies corrections, gives instructions, then disconnects. • Auditor does NOT stay online while developer works. • Auditor returns only to verify corrections. • Auditor stays online ONLY when guiding CEO through superuser AWS changes. • Auditor does NOT perform development. • Auditor does NOT expand scope. • Auditor does NOT upsell or propose ongoing work. 6. Verification & Documentation • Every correction must be verified by the auditor. • Final deliverable is a tight bullet point procedure (like this), not a book. • Final deliverable includes a correction ledger: o Corrections made by developer o Corrections made by CEO (superuser AWS) o Corrections made by auditor (only when required) o Final deliverable includes a cooperation and ability to work team hours when final team is established. (1 contractor); technical capability assessment.

Hi, this is really an AWS governance and traceability audit more than a development task, and I’ve done this kind of structured review work inside live systems where the main requirement is clean evidence and tight correction loops. The real engineering risk is drift between what the environment is doing, what Git history proves, and what the documented architecture claims is in production. I usually structure audits so repo discipline, access review, and environment visibility are checked as separate verification tracks with a clear correction ledger. The closest match on my side is Custom Feature Development & Integration, where I stepped into an existing codebase, ran a technical walkthrough, worked with disciplined Git hygiene, and delivered concise handoff documentation. HubSpot CRM Implementation & Interactive Senior Living Website is also relevant because it required system visibility, integration mapping, and operational documentation for stakeholder review. For a job like this, I’d review Git history, branch/tag conventions, repo boundaries, IAM scope, secrets handling, and resource inventory against the documented architecture, then return a tight list of corrections split by developer-owned versus CEO-only actions. I build systems and reviews for long-term production use, so the output stays short, verifiable, and enforceable. If useful, I can start by sketching the audit procedure and correction ledger format before the first review window. Thanks, Hercules

Hi, I get that this isn’t about building something new, but enforcing strict discipline in high-traffic AWS and Git environments where loose practices risk drift, security gaps, or audit failures. Last year, I set up a similar audit system for a SaaS team using AWS Lambda to scan IAM roles nightly and Git hooks to enforce branch naming and commit standards—turned out we had three unused roles and 15% of commits were just "fix stuff." I’d approach this using automated Lambda checks for IAM and GitHub Actions for branch/commit rules because it scales without manual overhead, and the biggest improvement will come from catching violations in real time before they pile up. I’ll keep fixes isolated to the documented workflows, verify each correction before marking it complete, and only bill for the audit time—no scope creep. The goal is a system that runs itself after setup, reducing CEO time on enforcement and giving developers clear, repeatable rules. If this matches your needs, I can start right now. Thanks, Denis

Hi, I am an AWS and Git specialist focused on security auditing and workflow discipline — exactly the scope you describe. I will audit your Git workflow (meaningful daily commits, clean conflict-free merges, enforced branch naming, weekly tags, and a simple weekly sync confirmation for the CEO) and your AWS security (minimal IAM roles, no wildcard permissions, no unused keys or policies, all changes logged, credentials only in Secrets Manager, and zero environment drift). I respect the role boundaries: I identify corrections, give clear instructions, then disconnect while the developer fixes within his permissions. I return only to verify. I guide the CEO live through superuser-level AWS changes but never perform them myself, and I stay strictly within scope. Deliverable: a tight bullet-point procedure plus a correction ledger showing who fixed what. Happy to confirm audit windows and get started. Let's talk.

I’ve audited AWS environments and enforced Git discipline for high-volume sites before, so this is right in my wheelhouse. I’ll start with a baseline scan of IAM, AWS config, and repo state using AWS Config rules, IAM Access Analyzer, and GitHub API to flag drift, unused policies, and branch violations. Then I’ll enforce minimal IAM roles via AWS Organizations SCPs, validate Secrets Manager usage, and set up automated tagging for traceability. For Git, I’ll implement branch protection rules, enforce commit message linting via GitHub Actions, and schedule weekly release tags with a GitHub workflow. All corrections will be logged in a correction ledger, verified live during audit windows, and the final deliverable will be a tight procedure with no fluff. Thanks, Andrii.

Hi, I recently reviewed an AWS environment where the goal was to improve security, clean up IAM permissions, verify infrastructure, and make the Git workflow fully traceable. The audit focused on practical fixes backed by evidence, not unnecessary changes. I can review your AWS setup, Git discipline, environment consistency, and produce a clear correction ledger with a simple action plan. I am comfortable working alongside developers and validating every fix before sign-off. One question: are your AWS resources managed only through the console, or do you also use Terraform or CloudFormation that should be included in the audit? Looking forward to making the environment cleaner, safer, and easier to trust. Best regards, Dev S.
