I am completing a PhD in psychology, looking at how individuals with autism respond behaviourally, and neurologically, to experiencing social exclusion. I am looking for three programs to be made. Firstly, 'Cyberball', a computerised ball throwing game in which the participant is led to believe they are playing with three other 'online players'. After throwing the ball between the players, the computerised players exclude the participant from the game. The second, is 'Cyberball- other excluded', in which instead of the participant being excluded, one of the computerised players is excluded from the game. Lastly, 'Cybershape'. In Cybershape every player is allocated a particular shape. The players must throw to the player's shape as indicated by the computer each turn. For example, if the computer indicates a blue square, the player with the ball must throw to the other player in the circle that is defined by a blue square. I have been trying to code these on E-Prime 2.0. It may be best to use Inquisit or Presentation. The software must be compatible with Net Station (EGI recording system), as I will be looking at Event Related Potentials. Please contact for further details.
