Hey, Do you want this new program to work offline on say a PC or online? Since the old program is in Access, I am assuming it works offline as of now. I am also assuming it is written as MS access forms that you click-open and enter data which gets saved in Access. Right? There are far better ways to accomplish this now a days. Dear Madam/Sir, First decision to make is whether it's worth to rewrite your program into another language/database, or just upgrade it to a newer version of MS-Access (201x) and modernize it. The decision depends on two factors: how many days of use are left (how soon the change has to be done) and an estimate of future growth (if it were relevant). In case of rewriting, I'd suggest a VBA or VB.NET implementation interacting with a MS-Access or MS-SQL Server database.
