I need to redesign (face lift) an existing Cold fusion template without breaking anything that's already there. (Much more work to follow)
-I have created the design and will give you an html file of what it looks like. I have already make all images to fit the html file.
-There’s only one page (1 CFM file) that needs to be done. But it is a complex page.
-Some links will be added and I will create the new pages but I might need your help to make sure the links work.
-This needs to be totally CSS driven for styles. The CSS file is already made and just needs to be adjusted to fit the rest of the site.
-All the code has to work on PC and Mac browsers. This one is important. The clients are Mac people.
-Need very clean code and optimized page for loading
-There is a MS SQL database behind this but I don't think we have to do anything to it for the redesign.
-The public template is already done and can be used as a guide (makes it a bit easier).
Process: I’ll send existing CFM and CSS files and the URL of the site where it is so you can see it in action. You’ll also get the template that’s already made and you can use it to make this one.
You will send back the new CFM and CSS file and then we go through the site to make minor adjustments to the CSS.
If everything goes well and we get along I need to have you do the rest of the site. Projects to follow:
- The site was moved to a new domain and needs some troubleshooting to make sure hardcoded stuff to the old domain are fixed (there are a few). This will need to be done right after the template is finished.
-There will be ongoing work (adding features, fixing bugs) to come after this so you need to really know your way around Cold Fusion cause the additional work is pretty complex.
- Please let me know if you are familiar with Mambo CMS and the extent of your experience. I will have more projects to follow and they need Mambo customization.
Please send me PM and provide some cold fusion work URL’s you have done before. Just so I know you actually read this description before you replied please mention [url removed, login to view] in your PM so I know you read it.
This is a small test project. If this works well, a lot more will follow. The project is urgent and needs to be done very quickly.
Thanks so much in advance for your bids.
