Dear Sir, Your requirement is not simply for a lawyer who understands the DPDP Act and Rules. You need someone who can translate those requirements into a compliance product that organizations can actually use—workflows, assessments, controls, checklists and dashboards. I am a commercial and technology lawyer with 15+ years of experience, including around 8 years as Legal Counsel with a Tier-1 law firm recognized by Chambers Global, Legal 500, IFLR1000 and AsiaLaw Profiles. My work includes technology transactions, privacy matters, SaaS agreements, regulatory compliance and GDPR-related privacy complaints, along with Privacy, Cookie and Terms policies. I can help convert the DPDP framework into practical product requirements covering consent, data fiduciary/processor obligations, data principal rights, notices, data mapping, retention/deletion, breach management, grievance handling, vendor compliance and assessments. The focus would be on making each legal requirement actionable: what the user needs to do, what the system should capture, what triggers an action and what evidence or dashboard output should result. I am happy to begin by reviewing your existing concept or requirements and identifying the compliance architecture needed. This gives you a practical starting point before committing to the wider engagement. Regards, Jadabendra Dutta Baruah How soon can I start the work?

⚡ MOST FREELANCERS WILL TELL YOU WHAT THEY CAN DO. I’LL SHOW YOU WHAT I’VE ALREADY DONE I recently led a project where I developed a compliance framework for a fintech startup in India, ensuring adherence to the DPDP Act. This resulted in a 30% reduction in compliance-related issues during the first audit, paving the way for smoother operations. With over five years of experience in data protection and compliance, I have a deep understanding of DPDP requirements and have successfully translated regulatory standards into actionable product features for various organizations. I understand your goal is to create a robust DPDP compliance product. I would work closely with your development team to convert regulatory requirements into intuitive workflows, assessments, and dashboards, ensuring seamless integration and user-friendly design. Clear communication and execution are vital for long-term success in compliance. I am committed to delivering results that not only meet but exceed your expectations. The difference between an average result and an exceptional one is usually decided before the work even begins. Regards, LuanCoetzee42

Dear Client, I can help turn the DPDP Act and Rules into a usable compliance product: features, workflows, checklists, assessments, dashboards and control logic your product team can build. I will map obligations to modules rather than rewrite the statute: • Data fiduciary / processor roles and accountability • Consent and notice (purpose, withdrawal, consent manager where relevant) • Data principal rights (access, correction, erasure, grievance) • Data inventory / mapping, purpose limitation, retention and deletion • Breach detection, notification and incident workflow • Vendor / processor due diligence and contract controls • Assessments, evidence logs and audit-ready dashboards Working method 1. Requirement matrix: DPDP clause → control → user story → acceptance criteria 2. Workflow maps for consent, rights requests, breach and grievance 3. Assessment questionnaires and scoring logic 4. Product backlog the engineering team can implement 5. Review calls with your product team GDPR experience helps for structure, but I will keep the product India-specific (DPDP language, consent manager, Significant Data Fiduciary duties where applicable). Please share whether this is a SaaS for multiple organisations or an internal GRC tool, and which modules you want in v1. I can start with a short module map in the first days after award. Best regards,

Hi, I am a Legal & Compliance professional, qualified Company Secretary (ICSI) and Post Graduate in Law with 18+ years of senior legal, compliance, and corporate governance experience. I am currently working with a listed client to implement the digital personal data protection mandates (DPDP Act) and simultaneously pursuing deep study, structured learning in International Data Protection and Privacy Law specifically for jurisdiction of EU, USA, UK, Dubai, HongKong and Canada, with the intent to build a focused practice in this space. Here is why that combination makes me a genuinely strong candidate for this role: Regulatory Compliance, Gap Assessments, RoPA & Data Mapping - I have led compliance audits, due diligence, regulatory gap analyses, built and maintained compliance frameworks & trackers across the applicable laws and translating this discipline into a DPDP-compliant RoPA and data inventory is a natural extension of work I have done throughout my career. Legal Drafting is one of my strongest professional competencies and can be used for drafting Privacy Policies, Notices, SOPs etc. and Consent & Rights Management Frameworks I have negotiated and managed vendor agreements, third-party contracts, and supply chain legal frameworks and their due diligence across my career. I have coordinated across legal, finance, IT, operations, and board-level stakeholders throughout my career and provided Training & Awareness to the employees. I am interested.

Hello, I am an Advocate practicing before the Delhi High Court and District Courts, with experience in legal research, regulatory compliance, and legal drafting. I am interested in helping you develop a practical DPDP compliance product for organizations in India. I understand that the key challenge is translating legal requirements into clear, actionable product features. I can help review the DPDP Act and applicable Rules, identify compliance obligations, and convert them into structured product requirements. My proposed approach includes: • Mapping data fiduciary and processor responsibilities. • Defining workflows for consent management, privacy notices, data principal rights, and grievance handling. • Preparing requirements for data mapping, retention, deletion, breach management, and vendor compliance. • Developing compliance checklists, assessment frameworks, and documentation for the product team. • Working with your developers to ensure that the legal requirements are clearly understood and reflected in the product design. I would first review your current product scope and objectives to understand the deliverables and prepare a realistic work plan. My focus would be on making compliance requirements clear, practical, and easy to implement. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your project and contribute my legal research and drafting skills to its development. Best regards, Anubhav Chandra Advocate | Legal Consultant

Hello, I'm an IP lawyer (LL.M., IP Law, National Law University Delhi), currently practicing at Patna High Court, with a research background directly relevant here: translating complex Indian regulation into structured, actionable outputs. At the DPIIT-IPR Chair, CNLU Patna, I worked on empirical research mapping GI registration potential and shaped Bihar's IP Tourism strategy — converting statutory requirements into frameworks, checklists, and assessments for non-legal stakeholders. That's the core skill your DPDP product needs: turning Act obligations (consent management, data principal rights, breach timelines, grievance handling, vendor compliance) into product workflows. I bring: Working knowledge of the DPDP Act, 2023 and draft Rules Experience structuring regulatory requirements into research outputs and assessment frameworks Litigation/drafting background for compliance rigor and risk-flagging Comfort translating legal requirements into clear specs for product/dev teams Happy to hop on a call to discuss scope and propose a requirement-to-control-mapping workflow suited to your build. Writing samples available on request. Best regards, Saurabh Kumar

Hello, Your team gets the DPDP Act and Rules already turned into features, workflows and controls. My sample 'DPDP compliance product prototype' (https://www.freelancer.com/u/VincentLAnderson/portfolio/14140591) was made for your brief: 42 obligations from the Act and the 2025 Rules, each tied to its section or rule and start date; a traceability matrix; five workflows; a clickable prototype with a scored assessment, consent ledger, rights queue with deadlines, breach timeline and dashboard; a GDPR crosswalk; and a PRD. Every register row quotes the Gazette wording it rests on; the rules engine passes 33 automated tests and the prototype 15 browser checks. It plans by the notified dates: Consent Manager registration from 13 November 2026, and the fiduciary duties and rights from 13 May 2027, eighteen months after the Gazette of 13 November 2025. The breach module separates the notices owed without delay from the detailed Board report due within 72 hours. The fixed price covers a register and traceability matrix scoped to your product, the assessment question bank with scoring, module requirements for notices, consent, rights, grievances, retention, breach and vendors, dashboard metrics, workflow diagrams, and review sessions with your product and development team. Which sectors will your first customers be in? Fixed price: INR 75,000. Timeline: register and assessment in week one, module requirements and workflows in week two, review and handover in week three. Vincent
