Using ANSYS Fluent I want a full CFD model of my flat-plate solar water heater to focus on fluid flow dynamics inside the collector when it is charged with an antifreeze solution. The study must couple solar-radiation heat input with the resulting circulation so we can pinpoint pressure drops, velocity profiles, and temperature distribution throughout the manifold and riser tubes. Geometry and boundary conditions are ready in basic CAD; they simply need cleaning and meshing. Once the mesh quality is validated, set up an unsteady solar load (DO or Solar Load Model) that represents typical peak-sun conditions. Radiation is the main transfer mechanism I wish to quantify, so please activate the appropriate radiation model and material optical properties before solving. Deliverables • ANSYS Fluent project files (geometry import, mesh, case & data) • A short report summarising solver settings, residual histories, contour plots (velocity, temperature, turbulence intensity), and calculated efficiency metrics • Recommendations for improving thermal performance based on the flow diagnostics Acceptance criteria: residuals below 1e-5, mass and energy imbalances under 1 %, and at least one comparative run showing how flow distribution changes when the inlet mass-flow rate is doubled. If you have recent experience with solar radiation modelling in Fluent and can turn this around quickly, I’m ready to start as soon as I receive a brief plan of your proposed approach and timeline.
