I use itunes and need answers and solutions to a feq questions.
I have Apple Music, and my iTunes collection of 65,000 songs is about 35% "Apple Music" and about 50% "Uploaded" and about 15% "Matched." I understand that my collection is on the cloud, but I have the hard files on a WD MyCloud drive. I have a few questions and would really appreciate anyone helping.
1) I also have many that appear as "no longer available" although I have the original, mostly ripped from vinyl, on my WD MyCloud. Is there anyway to get them back into the collection?
2) My 70,000 files on the WD MyCloud are in decent shape, but I have things like 3 folders with singers named spelled slightly differently, and then some loose files that aren't in artist folders. Is there a way to clean all that up? If I go in there to manually do it, will that upset the whole collection?
3) Are there any software programs that someone can recommend to help me supplement and better my iTunes experience? For example, converting tunes from FLAC automatically when I try to import them into a format iTunes will accept?
4) Finally, things I import into iTunes do make it to my collection in the Cloud, as they are accessible from my Music application on my phone or other computers, for example. But when I try to play music in ITunes from my laptop where ITunes is installed, I get a "!" and then have to manually find the program on my MyCloud. Any idea how to change that?
