A few weeks ago transactional emails from my ecommerce website (new account signup, lost password request etc) started bouncing back with the message:
host [login to view URL]
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
550 This message has been reported as spam by other users.
This issue happens with emails send to : Yahoo, hotmail, Gmail, AOL, etc.
My webhost told me that this is not a server issue, and my IP has not been blacklisted (yet).
I do not use my email for newsletters, and apparently normal emails (when I reply to someone) are not bouncing. It appears to be related to my automatic transactional emails only.
I have my email setup well, with dmarc and whatever, and I get a 9/10 or 10/10 score when I test my email on [login to view URL]
I need a security / email expert to :
-give me some insight why this is happening
-analyze the bounced emails to see if there is an IP address pattern (maybe someone is deliberately trying to get me blacklisted).
-and, most importantly, do whatever needs to be done to stop these emails from bouncing. Including contacting the email providers and getting me listed on a white list.
When you place your bid please make sure your proposal outlines what you will do, and what you cannot do to get this bouncing issue resolved.
Hello,
We are a team of linux server admin's, we will resolve your bounce issue.
it seems because of encryption (tll).
we will enable encryption for your mail server,
further need to check everything on server first, after that we will give a solution for this.
let's discuss over chat-box for further queries.
thank you
hey hi,
I would like to give you a quick intro about myself
I am an experienced email marketing and deliverability specialist with 6 years of experience and work for the no.1 ESP in the world. I have extensive experience in analysing the reason for email failures and provide recommendations to the client.
Would like to have quick chat with you to help you with your issues
I've been working with mail servers for most of my professional life. With regard to your issue, we can discuss in advance (before assigning the project), and I can check the e-mail bounces (and if necessary mail logs) in advance. Of course, there might be issues external to the e-mail server which we cannot resolve on the spot - however, I can provide a root cause analysis of the problem and help you contact the appropriate parties for definitive resolution. It will help to have 2 e-mails (one from the e-mail system - working, and one from the eCommerce solution - not working / with full headers for diagnostic).
Kind regards,
CRC
