Hello, I am a licensed Structural Engineer with experience in residential inspections, FEMA compliance, and rehabilitation projects where existing footprints must be maintained. I’ve worked on rehabs involving roofing systems, cladding, and access structures, with a focus on documenting conditions, providing fastening schedules, and ensuring city approval. Experience Highlights: • Conducted structural inspections for residential rehabs and storm-damage repairs in coastal Texas. • Designed and reviewed SIP/SIPS roof panel fastening schedules to align with FEMA and local wind-load requirements. • Provided field reports and construction-phase oversight for roof, siding, window, and stair replacements. • Coordinated directly with city engineers and building departments for compliance and FEMA accreditation. Approach: For your rehab at 16 Tindel St., I would begin with an on-site inspection, review the SIPS roof assembly, and produce a detailed fastening schedule. During replacement work, I can perform follow-up site visits, documenting progress and issuing stamped reports for the city engineer. All recommendations will follow FEMA and coastal best practices to strengthen the building envelope. Questions: Do you already have SIPS panel manufacturer specs available for reference? Would you like the inspection reports formatted for direct submission to the city engineer, or as separate technical memos? Best regards,
