Level and Tile Basement Floor

My basement is a clean concrete slab, roughly 530 sq ft, that now needs to be leveled and finished with porcelain tile laid in a straight-lay pattern. Scope of work • Check the slab for high/low spots, then apply the appropriate self-leveling compound so the finished surface is flat and ready for tile. • Supply and install a crack-isolation or uncoupling membrane if your inspection shows it will avoid future movement issues. • Set porcelain tiles (straight lay) with thin-set, maintain consistent joints, and grout neatly. No demolition is necessary; there is no old flooring to remove. • Clean up the site and leave the floor ready for baseboards or trim. Acceptance criteria • Finished floor flat to within 1/8″ over 10 ft. • Uniform grout lines, no lippage beyond 1/32″. • All materials properly bonded and fully cured.
