I run a paid online community for Azure and cloud professionals. It's built on Circle, and it's new. I launched it recently, and I'm looking for someone to help me grow it and keep it active. This is not a full-time role. I need someone who can put in one to two hours a day, consistently, and manage their own time without being micromanaged. Reliable beats brilliant here. What the role involves: * Welcoming new members and making them feel at home * Monitoring discussions and keeping engagement going * Scheduling and coordinating community events * Thinking about growth: what's working, what to try next * Some social media work tied to the community What I'm looking for: You don't need to be an Azure expert or an AI specialist. But the community is built around cloud computing and AI tools, so you need to be comfortable working in that environment and learning as you go. If you've managed an online community before, tell me about it. If you haven't, but you think you'd be good at this, tell me why. This community is brand new. The right person will help me take it from zero to something that mostly runs on its own. That's the goal. A short note about why you're interested goes a long way. I read them. Key skills, more is better: Community management, Circle, Social media management, Cloud computing, Azure, AI

Hi I can help manage and grow your new Circle community for Azure, cloud, and AI professionals with consistent daily engagement and structured community operations. The main challenge is not only posting content, but creating a repeatable rhythm that makes new members feel welcomed, encourages discussions, and keeps the community active without needing constant direction. I can support member onboarding, discussion prompts, event coordination, content scheduling, light moderation, and social media activity connected to the community. Since the audience is cloud-focused, I’m comfortable working around Azure, AI tools, technical learning topics, and professional community conversations. I can also track what types of posts, events, questions, and member interactions create the best engagement, then adjust the community plan based on real activity. My approach would be reliable, organized, and proactive, with clear communication and simple reporting so you always know what is happening. I’d be interested in this because building a new paid community from the ground up requires consistency, trust, and long-term thinking, not just random posting. Thanks, Hercules

Greetings! I’m an expert in community management with 9+ years of experience helping new online communities grow into highly engaged, self-sustaining ecosystems. Here’s how I can help: * Welcome and onboard new Circle members with a structured engagement flow to boost early participation * Monitor discussions daily and actively spark conversations to keep the community alive and valuable * Plan, schedule, and coordinate community events to drive retention and repeat engagement * Support light social media management aligned with your Azure and cloud-focused audience * Continuously analyze engagement patterns and suggest growth strategies for steady scaling I’ve managed and grown online communities where consistency, tone, and member experience mattered more than heavy expertise, so I understand how to build momentum from zero in a disciplined, low-supervision setup. What kind of event format do you envision first (live sessions, AMAs, or workshops), and are you currently tracking any engagement metrics inside Circle?

Hello there, I'm Valentino and I'm highly interested in this role. I do have Microsoft Azure, .NET, C#, and SQL Server experience, including AI, so technically this is right up my alley. While I haven't managed any online communities before, I have been actively involved in many Discord channels and independent forums that I recognize the people-centric and social aspects of this role. In one forum about solar technology I have already racked up around 500 posts. I'm an independent, individual full-time freelancer so I have time in my hands. I have also built a robust workstation: - High-speed fiber internet connection (700 Mbps) with backup (100 Mbps) and webcam. - 22-kwh solar UPS backup for emergency power interruptions For my references, please see links below: Some of my Microsoft Azure / .NET projects here in Freelancer: https://www.freelancer.com/projects/azure/Azure-Custom-Connectors-Logic-Apps https://www.freelancer.com/projects/dot-net/Microservices-Design Some of my AI projects here: https://www.freelancer.com/projects/chatgpt-ai-integration/Scala-Engineer-for-Functional https://www.freelancer.com/projects/google-cloud-platform/Document-OCR-Processing Thank you for reviewing my proposal. Hello, I’d be interested in helping you grow and manage your Circle community. What I like about this role is that it’s not just “posting content” — it’s about making a new community feel alive, useful, and welcoming until members start engaging naturally. I’m comfortable working around Azure, cloud computing, AI tools, and technical communities. I’m not claiming to be an Azure trainer, but I understand the environment well enough to follow discussions, ask useful questions, organize topics, and learn quickly as the community grows. My focus would be: - welcoming new members personally - starting and maintaining useful discussions - keeping the Circle space organized - helping schedule events or live sessions - identifying what content gets engagement - suggesting simple growth experiments - supporting social posts connected to the community I’m reliable with consistent daily work and don’t need micromanagement. For a new community, I’d first focus on building a rhythm: onboarding posts, weekly discussion prompts, event reminders, member highlights, and simple engagement tracking. I can commit 1–2 hours per day and help turn the community into something active, structured, and easier to run over time.

Hi there, I am Everett, an experienced community manager who understands the dynamics of building and growing online groups. Your main goal is to nurture and expand your Azure Skills Community on Circle by welcoming members, driving engagement, and coordinating events, while growing the community’s reach through social media. I will implement consistent daily engagement by welcoming newcomers, monitoring discussions, scheduling events, and testing growth strategies. I will also manage relevant social media content to attract and retain members. I can communicate in real time within your time zone and deliver an initial engagement plan within 12 hours of starting. Q1: What are your top priorities for community growth in the first three months? Q2: Are there existing social media channels you want me to focus on? Q3: Do you have any preferred tools for scheduling and event management? What has been your biggest challenge in community engagement so far? Best regards, Everett

Hi there, Thanks for sharing the details of your Azure and cloud professionals community. The focus on consistent engagement, member experience, and gradual organic growth is clear, and this kind of early-stage community work is exactly where structure and consistency make the biggest impact. I can help you manage and grow the community on Circle by ensuring daily engagement stays active and intentional, rather than random. This would include welcoming new members in a personalised way, prompting discussions that encourage participation, and keeping conversations aligned with cloud, Azure, and AI-related topics. I can also help maintain a steady rhythm of activity through scheduled posts, discussion prompts, and event coordination so the community never feels “quiet” or inactive. Over time, this helps build habit and retention among members. On the growth side, I can monitor what types of discussions are performing well, suggest new engagement ideas, and support light social media activity to bring in relevant professionals from the Azure and cloud ecosystem. The goal would be to create a self-sustaining engagement loop where members start contributing more actively over time. If helpful, I’d be happy to align on a simple weekly structure for engagement, growth experiments, and content scheduling so we can steadily move the community from early-stage to self-sustaining. Thanks!

Hi, I'll keep this human because your brief asked for one, and the line about reliable beating brilliant told me a lot about how you want this run. Why I'm interested. New communities are the most interesting stage to come in on. Everything's still soft clay, and showing up consistently in those first months is what decides whether a community lives or quietly fades. I'd rather be in at the start than maintain something already running. What I'd bring: Consistency. One to two hours a day, every day. Welcoming new members with a real read of their intro and a question that draws them out, because the first 48 hours decide whether someone stays active or disappears. Discussion stewardship. Reviving fading threads, tagging people with good answers, and quietly recognising natural contributors since they're the ones who'll carry the community long term. Event coordination. Scheduling, promoting, and following up so energy doesn't die after the call ends. Growth thinking. Weekly notes on what's working, what isn't, and what's worth testing. Honest reporting, no hype. Social media tied to the community. Sharing standout discussions and member wins to pull new people in. On Azure and AI: not an expert, but comfortable in that environment and used to learning fast by reading the actual conversations. The goal of taking it from zero to mostly self-sustaining is the right one, and that takes patient daily work. Happy to start with a short trial. Thanks, Zeze

I’ll bring a practical approach to moderating discussions, creating value-driven prompts, and coordinating virtual meetups that align with your members’ interests. What’s the current onboarding flow you’d like new members to experience in Circle, and are there any upcoming events you want prioritized in the first month? Best regards, Chibike

My background in managing Telegram Mini Apps with over 1 million users directly translates to the challenges of nurturing engagement and fostering growth within your new community. The early stage of a paid community is usually where everything gets decided, because people can tell very quickly whether a space feels active and welcoming or quiet and disconnected. What I’d focus on first is creating consistency around member experience so new people immediately feel noticed instead of joining and hearing nothing. That means welcoming members properly, keeping discussions moving naturally, helping conversations continue after posts go live, and making sure events and social content support the community instead of feeling separate from it. Since this is still growing from zero, the small daily interactions matter just as much as bigger growth ideas because they shape whether members stay active or disappear quietly. I also like that you mentioned reliability over brilliance because communities usually grow better from steady engagement than random bursts of activity. Right now, do you already have members actively posting inside Circle, or are you still mainly in the stage of building the first core group and engagement rhythm?

Hi, there. Your post stood out because it's honest. "Reliable beats brilliant" tells me you've been burned before by people who sound great in proposals and disappear by week three. I get it. I've spent the last four years managing online communities, two of them on Circle. Most recently I ran a 1,200-member paid community for SaaS founders: daily welcomes, keeping threads alive when they stalled, monthly AMAs, and a 38% member growth over eight months through referral loops and light LinkedIn content. I know Circle's spaces, events, and member directory well, and which automations actually save time vs. the ones that feel robotic. On the Azure/AI side: I'm not certified, but I follow the space closely, use Copilot and Azure OpenAI daily, and read enough Reddit and HN to know what cloud folks actually care about. I learn fast and I won't pretend to know something I don't. First two weeks, I'd audit your current member journey, flag the three biggest drop-off points, set up a welcome rhythm that doesn't feel templated, and propose one engagement experiment (probably a weekly thread tied to real Azure use cases members can actually answer). Why I'm interested: paid communities at the zero-to-one stage are where the work actually matters. Mature ones are maintenance. New ones are building something. I'd rather build, and I'd rather build something niche than generic. Looking forward to hearing from you. Diego
