News Channel Head & Content Director

I am building a dedicated news outlet that will release polished, pre-recorded shows across YouTube, linear TV and our social-media feeds. To steer both the editorial vision and the day-to-day production flow, I need an experienced Channel Head who can double as Content Director. You will own the entire programming strategy: shaping the news agenda, mapping story arcs, and locking in a weekly content calendar that keeps our multi-platform audience coming back. From concept to final cut you’ll supervise scripts, shoots and post-production, ensuring every segment meets professional broadcast standards and suits the nuances of each platform. Strong familiarity with YouTube Studio analytics, broadcast compliance, Adobe Premiere (or equivalent NLE) and social scheduling tools is essential. Key deliverables • A 3-month content roadmap with show formats, upload cadence and talent/resource requirements • Editorial guidelines that define tone, fact-checking workflow and legal checks • At least one fully produced pilot episode ready for YouTube, TV and social release • Performance metrics plan outlining how we’ll track reach, watch-time and retention Success will be measured by the clarity of the roadmap, the quality of the pilot, and early audience engagement once we launch.
