Freelance Social Media & Content Lead Location: Remote/Hybrid (Preferred: Thane/Mumbai for occasional meetings and shoots) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Freelance Social Media & Content Lead to develop and execute engaging content across social media and ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution to strengthen our brand presence, drive audience engagement, and support business growth. This is a project-based/freelance opportunity for a self-driven professional who can collaborate with internal teams, creative partners, and influencers while independently managing content initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop monthly content strategies and calendars across social media platforms. Plan brand, product, campaign, topical and reel content. Coordinate designers, editors, photographers and creators. Develop platform-specific strategies for Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and other channels. Manage community engagement, influencer collaborations and UGC. Monitor analytics and optimize performance; support ORM. Lead ecommerce content including A+ content, SEO-friendly listings, infographics and lifestyle assets. Support integrated marketing campaigns across social and ecommerce. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies/production partners. Deliverables Monthly content calendar Campaign concepts Creative direction Ecommerce content Performance reports Influencer coordination Skills & Experience • 8–10 years of experience in social media/content marketing. • Experience with lifestyle, beauty, fashion, consumer or FMCG brands preferred. • Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Amazon, Myntra and quick-commerce platforms. • Experience managing agencies, influencers and creative production. • Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Canva and similar tools. Engagement Freelance/Contract basis Flexible working hours Compensation: Project-based or monthly retainer.
