Role Overview We are looking for a part-time Marketing Operator to support ComplySmart’s marketing activities. This is an execution-first role (~60 hours/month, ~15 hours/week) where you will manage campaigns, content, and reporting across LinkedIn, HubSpot, Google Ads, and Lusha. The founding team will retain control over branding, messaging, and final approvals, but you will own the day-to-day marketing operations. When you first join, we’d also love to hear your ideas for different strategies that could help us enter the market as a new player in AI compliance. Key Responsibilities 1. LinkedIn (Company Page) - Draft, design, and schedule 2–3 company posts per week. - Monitor engagement, respond to comments where appropriate, and track performance. 2. HubSpot (CRM & Email) - Manage lead data, nurture workflows, and send monthly newsletters. - Build and maintain simple drip campaigns. - Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports. 3. Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads - Create and refresh campaigns targeted at UK companies pursuing AI compliance / Cyber Essentials. - Monitor spend, performance, and conversions weekly. - Suggest and implement optimizations. 4. Lead Sourcing (Lusha) - Pull prospect lists monthly (e.g., compliance leads, CTOs, COOs). - Ensure enriched leads are uploaded and tracked in HubSpot. 5. Reporting & Syncs - Weekly performance snapshot: leads, traffic, campaign ROI. - Join a short weekly sync with founders for priorities & approvals. - Deliver a monthly performance and growth report. Tools You’ll Use - CRM & Automation: HubSpot - Ads & Lead Gen: Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Lusha - Collaboration: Slack (daily comms), Notion/Google Docs (content calendar, approvals) - Analytics: HubSpot dashboards, Google Analytics Example Monthly Workflow (~60 hrs) Weekly (~15 hrs) - LinkedIn content scheduling + engagement → 4–5 hrs - HubSpot campaigns & lead management → 3–4 hrs - Google Ads + LinkedIn Ads monitoring & adjustments → 3–4 hrs - Lusha prospecting & enrichment → 1–2 hrs - Weekly reporting + founder sync → 1–2 hrs Monthly (~5–6 hrs) - Newsletter creation & distribution - Campaign refresh (new creative, targeting) - Monthly performance report + strategy check-in This role is ideal for someone mid-level, detail-oriented, and comfortable running hands-on marketing operations, while also contributing fresh ideas to support ComplySmart’s growth in the UK compliance market.
