Employment Contract Review

I need a professional to review an employment contract. My primary concern is the compensation and benefits section, especially the salary structure. I signed a contract as an independent contractor with a profit share agreement. The agreement is that I will receive 90% of profit after expenses paid. It appears that the owners are deducting my distribution the following month of the first distribution therefore doubling the expenses for the current month.
