I must confess that I never wrote on Ghosts before. BUT, the good news is that - I am an Indian ,and we have many ghost stories in our folklore , we also have Tantric Practises and witch craft from whom , I can borrow . I am a passionate writer- Try me Here is an Article written by me - Reminiscence of My Wonder Days I was gallivanting about , near K R Circle, a few days ago. My eyes refused to obey my instructions to look elsewhere (at some tourist girls) and remained focussed on my Alma mater . Within no time , Curiosity coupled with An Overwhelming urge to revel in my past glory , got the better off me and I entered the Quadrangle. I left that place for good(officially), a full five years ago.. But at that moment , I felt as if it was only yesterday, that I was there , ogling at that ****** Darling of mine ! It was as if every brick , stone ,and the leaves there had my story written on them ,and were revealing it in concert ! The place was full of bubbly kids in the prime of their youth ! It has become a lot more cleaner , far more entertaining and much more enjoyable ! Some were playing Badminton (Baddy) , others were having a tête-à-tête with their loved ones / friends in the VISVESVARAYA PARK next to the NCC office .. Many were seen playing Volleyball near the Canteen. I met Mama , and my sausays -and had tea for about 2 rupees . I refreshed my vocabulary ( By two / Two by three/Saaley kudi/Hajaam/XYZ Blade haakdaa/LG/Backs/Disti ) I indulged myself fully ,absorbing as much as I could of the moments being spent to cherish forever but was disturbed -- Not by some LECTURER,but by my bladder ,which had something close to two litres stored. Assigning a junior I had by then befriended, the charge of my wordly possessions ,I dashed off to the Boys' Loo --And found a padlock there along with a notice that read " NCC store room " ! Oh yes, a former toilet - a veteran of so many biochemical wars, witness to a million leaks is enjoying its retirement as a store . (I forgot to tell you about the Cafe vending outlet close by and a round seat system around all the trees in that area !) (By the Electrical lab ,below the room where we first used FORTRAN ) My next halt was the toilet next to room 113 . Pissing there was an experience !! It was done up -like a 3*hotel's loo. I remember going all the way upto Hotel Atria to .... freshen up ! It soon became apparent that the current management is taking steps to enhance "student productivity " and the results are showing -257/334 8 semmers placed ! After micturating copiously,I visited the library and found students picking up books fearlessly .In contrast , during my days , no one dared to visit those B/C ticket racks ! A fighting fit teen like me had his nose blocked ,while ridding the book off the Seventy year old dust it accumulated ,during its patient,and long drawn wait for a reader. The visit made me proud. Proud of the fact that my efforts to clean The Library The Stepped Park en route Civil Class room During 2000-01 , paid off . As a banker , I'd say that they have matured as investments-paying rich dividends..Kids now in college would cherish the Visvesvaraya Park .. Some day , a toddler would be shown around the park and told by both of his rich and "Settled" Parents that this is the place where his parents sang songs, danced in the rain,cuddled after classes and exams........... and decided to marry ....
