We specialise in managing start-up Internet ventures. This includes everything from proof-of-concept, to branding, to domain name selection and regsitration, to web site development and SEO, to commercialisation.
From time to time, for whatever reason, some of our clients choose not to proceed past the conceptual stage of a particular project. Perhaps they have lost funding, or we have encouraged them to move in a different direction.
As a result, we have many strong domain names that are sitting idle - not being used for anything.
In the past, we have liquidated our surplus domain stock through online sites such as eBay, Sedo and GoDaddy's domain aftermarket. We have found this to be a time consuming distraction from our core business activities. Further, we find that we are unable to devote the time to ensure we receive good prices for these domains.
We currently have a surplus of approximately 12 high quality, highly brandable, top-level (dot com) domains that we're not using.
We are looking for a person or team of people to promote and sell these domains on our behalf. We will pay a project fee (as per your bid here on GAF). We will also pay you a percentage of the final value that you manage to sell our domains for.
These are excellent domain names, each with very strong marketing concepts behind them. Most have proof-of-concept logos and partial web sites, which we are happy to hand over to the new owners.
Are you experienced in marketing premium domain names to businesses and investors? If so, we encourage you to bid on this project. Please describe what steps you would take to ensure a strong and speedy return.
Alternatively, if you have existing clients/investors who would consider funding the development of any of these sites, please let us know. We have some spare development capacity toward the end of this year.
