Hi! I'd like to submit my bid on this project. As well as being a writer, I'm also an ESL teacher so I'm ideally placed to complete your project. I ahve written similar dialogues before for an online English teaching course (in U.S. English) aimed at adult students in Asia and Germany. I would base this around a family of 2 adults and 2 children; one boy and one girl who are visiting a foreign country for the first time. I propose a series of short conversations covering the following:- Arrival at the airport and organizing transport to hotel. Checking into hotel and exchanging money Ordering meals/drinks Shopping Sightseeing - includes types of attraction such as art gallery, museum etc. Asking for directions Nightlife - cinema, theater, nightclubs etc. Activities for children - sports, adventure parks etc. My bid is based on 8 short conversations of approx. 375 words each. Communication or writing would not be a constraint as I am employed as a Senior Communication Trainer in a BPO for the past 3+ years to train Executives to communicate with US and UK customers using various telephone etiquette and soft skills. American teaching ESL at the University level in Japan, 15 years experience as well with high school, adults, seniors and materials creation. Have often taught public continuing education classes in Travel English, with original materials, so I know what works. My text would follow a funny small group tour, 3 or 4 people, on a trip to the US, taking into account recent changes in airport security. Members of the group have different strengths and weaknesses- Mr. A for example is friendly but forgetful, but they all get along and help each other, along the lines Oxford's "Passport" series. Sample dialogues would include variation so tourists can adjust to circumstances. According to your needs I can of course change the location or characters, even making them cute animals, such as a group of mouse tourists sampling LA's cuisine and going to a ball game.
