one thing worth confirming before we start - cPanel/WHM only supports Ubuntu 24.04 LTS officially, so if your VPS is on 20.04 or 22.04 the installer will flat-out refuse. Also needs a clean OS - no pre-existing Apache, MySQL or Exim, or the install will conflict and there's no clean rollback from that. If you can confirm it's fresh 24.04 with a static IP and a proper hostname set, this is a single-session job with no surprises Assuming all that checks out - I'd run the official cPanel installer, let it do its thing (takes 20-60 min), then verify Apache, MySQL/MariaDB, Exim and DNS all show healthy in service manager.
