My team is working on a C++ MFC app that compiles in Visual Studio 2010. We have a complex GUI, that is formed via a traditional RC file. Out app runs in MBCS. Our app is currently all English. We're looking to make it as multi-lingual as possible. Right now, I can put in French, German, Spanish, and Chinese characters in MessageBoxW's and pop up dialogs I can put French, German, and Spanish characters in file SUBmenus. I can't put Chinese characters in the SUBmenus. In the top/parent menus, I can't figure out how to edit anything without editing the RC file directly. I can't paste any Asian characters in the top menus no matter what I try.
Thats the problem. What my team is looking for is assistance via a screen share to teach our team how to support internationalization the right way. I tried using a built in RC to DLL file converter, but our app was so big it blew up the helper app.
If you think you are up to the challenge, please apply.
We're paying $50/hour via the site. I doubt this will take more than 3 hours. We'll meet online via a screen share app. We will be available to meet between 7PM and 9PM Monday through Friday. Our time zone is EST, Atlanta, GA USA.
