Think charming animal or child characters learning what it means to share, listen, and care for one another. A word count in the 300–600 range keeps page turns light and engaging. Illustration style Hand-drawn art is essential. Whether you favour watercolours, coloured pencils, or ink lines with a gentle wash, the images should feel organic and textured—not overly polished digital vectors. Soft, bright colours, expressive faces, and clear action on every spread will help little readers connect instantly with each scene.
