Page load times was a huge issue that we had to tackle at the company I previously worked on, and I have a pretty good idea what is causing the slowness on your site without even looking at it. Drupal has a lot of features, and many of those features aren't needed on most pages, yet they are loaded anyway. I would investigate what is necessary per page and implement alters to remove what is not. If feasible, I would replace views with a custom module as view's convenience comes with a drawback: Its queries are extremely inefficient. At the very least, I would implement hook_views_query_alter to optimize all the queries. Another small easy win would be to implement hook_head_alter and have all scripts load at the bottom of the page.
