I bought a template with the main color being lightpurple and the secondary color a sort of bright green. The template is pretty complex, in the sense that it containts a lot of css files and images.
First an foremost, the CSS should be converted to SASS with variables for main color and secondary color. You should also keep in mind that some tints of the purple are lighter variants of the main color purple, so the lighten($main-color) function should be used a lot throughout the files. The finishing product would be a well structured SASS files folder which can be compiled into a minimized file with two variables ($main-color and $secondary color) which impact all the colors (and shades/tints) on the website.
A possible folder structure could look like this:
/(folder containg all sass)
(allfiles converted to scss using the color variables)
[login to view URL] (file containing variables for colors, $main-color and $primary-color
[login to view URL] (file loading all other files and colors)
Secondly, in the folder /images and the folder /revslides/assets, all the images should be edited to match the $main-color and $secondary-color.
Our business colors are:
1) Convert all CSS files to WELL-STRUCTURED SASS with the two above mentioned variables. Keep in mind that EVERY color on the website should rely on these variables. For example a lighter version of the green would be lighten($green, x%) !!ALL COLORS!! on the websites should adapt on the two colors specified above.
2) All the images in the above mentioned folders should be edited according to the business colors.
The goal is that I have a file/scss/utilities/ [login to view URL] where I can just change the value of the color variables and the WHOLE website should change accordingly, meaning EVERY color code on the website.
