Custom Multi-Category E-Commerce Site

I’m building a full-scale online marketplace that sells everything from electronics and fashion to groceries, beauty items, kitchenware, home décor and mobile accessories. The goal is a fluid shopping experience on a custom-built platform—no Shopify or WooCommerce template—so the codebase remains entirely in our control. Core functions I need in the first release: • Product pages that support user reviews and star ratings • A recommendation engine that surfaces related or frequently bought-together items in real time • Live chat so shoppers can reach support without leaving the page Beyond those headline features, the site must be responsive, SEO friendly and fast. I’ll supply product data and creative assets; what I’m counting on is your end-to-end development expertise—database design, secure payment gateway integration, role-based admin panel, order tracking, coupon logic and whichever tech stack you feel will scale.
