Hello arcgraphics -
Not sure if you remember me from awhile back on my logo design contest ... you did a great design, but there was a lot of contact from another designer and that turned into a bit of an ethical dilema for me (as far as contact after the contest was closed). It ended up that I just wasn't sure quite how to proceed. I liked your design and quality best, but his design got better results in a/b testing. His design was also a little "flat" or non-dimensional to me and the colors weren't quite right. Ultimately, I wanted you to take his design and put your golden touch on it as far as quality, dimension and layout. I figure, in some way, it was a fair solution to the dilema for the prize money to be split between the two of you and then for me to ultimately hire you to do the design.
Of course, now I'm wondering how you would feel about it and what you would charge me?
The "design" in question is attached, as well as your own (in case you don't remember).
The oak tree design is good, but needs to be more horizontal than vertical. I am buying a copy of the website "wesellsarasota.com" and I need a logo to fit in there on the top, something that I would also be able to use for stationery, banners, signs, etc. The element that was missing in the oak tree design were the rolling scroll lines your had above and below "live and play east county," which were reminiscent of the wide open spaces out here in my area. It also seemed lacking, especially the oak, in dimension and depth of color. The hawk is good, but your eye is the best as far as placing each element into the right scale, proportion and placement to eachother.
Can you help me???
And how much would it cost me??? :-D
hope you are well,
