I have a wine app that is going live in the apple store in a few days Called BottleJoy. we have developed a comprehensive algortihm that models the preferences of the consumer.
I am looking to add Location based inventory to the app. So that when a customer walks into a BottleJoy enables wine shop the inventory is instantly available. I do not want to interupt the traditional shopping experience of the wine store, but instead only want the filter to show which wines are the most liked in the store.
The app will only compare a particular wine when the consumer clicks on it and opens the profile.
The app will not show price comparisons. However, we want to have room in the database to hold the price as we will allow in app purchasing later down the road. Also, it provides a new datapoint for the retailers to understand average pricing.
I will also want to have this entire app coded up in Android after we complete this part.
I want to get this built as soon as possible. Please take a look at WinoBot app and Blush app. To see what inventory systems they have built...we can copy that.
