I need to translate a cover letter for a job application to a Japanese company. They have a local (US) office and their vice president for my section is located in the US. I do not know the protocol for writing a letter to such a person (nor do I know Japanese). I would provide the letter in English and if you could put it in a format that would meet the expectations of an executive in this type of situation, I would be most grateful. If the letter should be shorter, that is fine. I just want to impress on them that I am very excited about the chance of working with a Japanese company. I also have my Japanese version of my resume that I would like you to look at and make sure it is correct and proper.
Please let me know if you are available for these two tasks. I have a very short deadline -- like 24 hours at the most -- so please let me know if that would present a problem.
Thank you for your assistance and time.
