Hello, Cora May here. The Centre for Sacred Deathcare (CSD) needs a steady, compassionate operator who can keep inboxes calm, information tidy, and social spaces welcoming. I can manage Gmail and social inboxes daily, moderate FB/IG/YouTube/TikTok with clear escalation paths, and coordinate client/session scheduling so prospective students always feel seen and supported. I’m comfortable working within existing SOPs and using AI for organization only (sorting, tagging, drafting internal notes/workflow, never writing final responses). I also enjoy the small operational details: event venue rental organization, Slack-ready communication, and keeping documentation and follow-ups consistent across tools like Google Suite. Given your emphasis on warmth, accountability, and human voice (no AI-sounding replies), I’m especially aligned with a “first point of contact” role that supports grief-sensitive, on-brand communication with clarity and care.

For the past several years I've worked in customer support, operations, marketing, and administration. I'm experienced with Slack, Google Workspace, Canva, AI-assisted workflows, project management platforms, and more... Your mission also resonates with me on a deeply personal level. Last year, I lost my newborn son shortly after he was born. I don't mention that to seek sympathy, but because it changed the way I show up for people. It taught me that we rarely remember the perfect words... we remember who made us feel seen, heard, and cared for. That's something I carry into every interaction, whether it's answering an email, helping someone solve a problem, or simply listening. I'd be honored to contribute to your mission and would love the opportunity to speak with you. Warmly, Barbara Billafon

Hi David, thank you for inviting me to bid on this opportunity with The Centre for Sacred Deathcare. As I read the description, it sounded like you're looking for someone who can communicate with warmth, support students and community members thoughtfully, and bring reliability and consistency to the day-to-day work behind the scenes. I work calmly and independently, learn new systems quickly, and genuinely enjoy bringing clarity, structure, and a greater sense of ease to all the moving parts so the team I'm supporting can stay focused on the work they do best. I'm comfortable using AI to support organization and workflow while always keeping my communication genuinely human. My background includes coordinating guests for The Animal Files podcast, TESOL tutoring, customer support, residential group home support, event coordination, digital marketing, and administrative work. Across these experiences, I've consistently contributed through thoughtful communication, collaboration, and helping meaningful programs and services run smoothly. I resonate with CSD's mission and have a longstanding personal interest in spiritual growth. I'm drawn to organizations that help people navigate meaningful life experiences with care, compassion, and openness.
