My small business needs a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper who can keep the books current every month and give me clear, visual insights in both English and Hindi. Software & workflow I’m not on QuickBooks or Xero; everything sits in a custom spreadsheet system. You should be comfortable working with “other” setups—importing bank feeds, cleaning data, and, if you wish, recommending a future migration to cloud software. Monthly scope By the 5th working day you’ll close the month, reconcile all entries, and deliver a Cash Flow Statement accompanied by concise commentary and easy-to-read charts (Excel, Google Sheets or a lightweight dashboard tool of your choice). Year-end scope At fiscal year-end I need a full Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and an Annual Budget Report, each paired with visual summaries that highlight key trends and variances. Communication We’ll touch base once a month on a brief video call; written notes and annotations must be provided in Hindi and English so my local team can follow along. Deliverables will be considered complete when the figures tie back to source statements, visuals are legible on both desktop and mobile, and explanations are provided for any material variance over 2 %.
