Planned analyses: I plan to: *Establish reference intervals for FIBTEM parameters using descriptive statistics (mean, median, SD, range, and 2.5th–97th percentiles with 90% confidence intervals). * Assess correlations between Clauss fibrinogen concentration and FIBTEM parameters using Spearman’s correlation. * Perform Bland–Altman analysis to evaluate agreement and quantify bias between FIBTEM measurements and Clauss fibrinogen. * Significance set at p < 0.05. Additional objective (model development): I am particularly interested in exploring whether it would be feasible to develop a predictive equation to estimate fibrinogen concentration from FIBTEM parameters, potentially incorporating relevant covariates such as platelet count, hematocrit, age, or body weight.
