I have several Excel workbooks that contain raw income-statement figures. Before I can run any meaningful analysis, the data needs a careful pass of cleansing—removing duplicates, fixing inconsistent formats, standardising account names—and then re-entered into a tidy, well-structured sheet that aligns with my chart-of-accounts layout. Here is what I expect: • Every line item in each workbook reviewed and corrected for spelling, date and numeric formatting. • Uniform column order (period, account code, account name, amount, notes). • One consolidated, error-free master sheet delivered back in .xlsx format. I will provide the existing Excel files and a brief style guide for headers and acceptable account names. No OCR or PDF conversion is required; everything is already in spreadsheet form. To be sure we are on the same page, please outline your approach to data cleaning in Excel (Power Query, formulas, VBA, etc.) and tell me how you will QA your work before hand-off. A quick sample on the first 100 rows will help us confirm formatting early. Looking forward to working with someone who appreciates the nuances of financial data integrity and can turn this around promptly.
