I need a Simple Python-based tool that allows user to input an excel file which renders an investment portfolio as a hierarchical tree and lets me explore the tree breakdown in real time. The core of the assignment is user interactivity: every node—whether it is a Portfolio Group level (Branch) or under it a Porfolio(Leaf Level) the lowest level —should respond instantly to common gestures so I can look into the breakdown, rearrange, or simply inspect the tree. The data will visualise is an investment portfolio breakdown that I can provide in JSON or CSV. I would like the structure to load dynamically so I can swap in new datasets without touching the code. The interface must respond to: • Click events – expand / collapse branches and select individual holdings • Drag-and-drop – reorder or move nodes to model rebalancing scenarios • Hover effects – can see the Currency on Portfolio and the full name Feel free to use libraries such as Plotly Dash, PyVis, Bokeh or any graph-oriented framework you prefer, as long as the final solution runs locally with a simple `python [login to view URL]` (or similar) command and is commented clearly.
