We have an excel spreadsheet with a list of all the magazines published in the UK. Each of these magazines is published by a publishing company for example Vogue Magazine is published by Conde Nast.
We need you to simply search for the name of the magazine on the web and then find who the publisher of each of the magazines on the list is. Again by publisher we don't mean the person, we mean the company. There will be multiple magazines with the same publisher but many will also be small independent magazines whos publisher only publishes one magazine. Usually the name of the publisher is buried in the footer of a website for example on the file attached for Acoustic Magazine which is published by Blaze Publishing. You may of course not always find the publisher name in the footer and will have to do a little more digging around on the website contact details or on the web in general running a google search such as "Publisher Acoustic Magazine UK." Mostly however its usually in the footer. Sometimes the publisher is the same name as the magazine title and maybe with the word Ltd after.
The spreadsheet attached has three columns. One for the magazine title, one with a URL and one for the publisher name. The magazine URL is only there to help you find the magazine and in some cases is not present. You only need to input the publisher name and do not need to input the magazine URL if it is missing.
There will also be instances where the magazine no longer exists on the web. This is probably because it has closed down or changed names. If you cannot find information about a specific magazine do not worry and simply move onto the next.
Please ensure that you use the same naming convention for all publishers e.g. always use "Blaze Publishing" and not "Blaze Pub" or "Blaze" in instances where this publisher has multiple magazines.
