I have the names of 512 healthcare related companies. I need to know which ones are private and which ones are public.
Typically, you can google the company name, visit the website, and see if there is an 'about' or 'investor relations' section that has a stock price. That means its 'public'.
Please note that some of these companies are wholly owned subsidiaries of public companies. This should count as 'public'. If there is a parent company, it will be noted somewhere on the website.
Please write the Stock Symbol next to all public companies. You can go to [url removed, login to view] to find stock tickers for companies, although it will typically be listed in the 'investor relations' section of a public company's websit.
