I'm looking for a virtual assistant company that can provide ongoing assistance with research and data entry tasks. Fluent English is necessary, as well as basic knowledge of Excel, MS Word, etc.
The first assignment is to research oil spills over the past 30 years. The job is to:
- find sources of information about oil spills (on the internet)
- gather information from these sources, including the companies involved in the oil spill, the size of the oil spill, the type of equipment involved (offshore drill, tanker ships, etc.), the cost of the oil spill to the oil companies (including fines and liabilities from lawsuits)
- summarize the results, including links to the sources on the internet, in an Excel spreadsheet
I already have a spreadsheet with information on many oil spills that can be used as a starting point.
The work arrangement for this first job will be a fixed price. However, I would like to work with someone who can provide a part-time virtual assistant at an hourly rate on an ongoing basis to do follow-up work and to assist with future projects.
