Dear Freelancers,
I need to gather information about the sites/locations/facilities of some multinational companies in 10 countries in Asia-Pacific.
Project Brief:
I would like to collect information about all the facilities / sites / locations for my list of 4 Target Companies in 10 countries in Asia Pacific. I am NOT interested in small retail shops, I am only interested in offices and company facilities (factories, warehouses etc.). Here are the details:
Information needed:
• precise location and address for each facility;
• estimated roof size and roof type for each facility,
Countries:
• Australia
• Cambodia
• Indonesia
• Laos
• Malaysia
• Myanmar
• Philippines
• Thailand
• Singapore
• Vietnam.
The process:
STEP 1:
- Locate all the facilities (factories, warehouses, offices) of the 4 companies in the countries listed. Information can usually be found on the company websites, on wikipedia or with Google.
STEP 2:
- Complete the document
1. Download the spreadsheet template.
2. Target Company: insert name from list above.
3. Local Company: insert name if different from Target .
4. Facility Type: insert whether this is “Manufacturing” or “Office” or “Unknown”.
5. Country: insert from list above.
6. Address: type the address for each facility (not small retail shops). Suggest using Google maps and company website to identify all facilities.
7. Google Maps Link: please copy link from Google Maps for each facility.
8. GPS Coordinates: please insert from Google Maps.
9. Estimated Roof Size: use Google Maps to estimate the size of rooftop .
o Right click on one corner of the building Choose “Measure Distance” from the list
o Click on all corners of the building and final click on the first corner to close the surface to be estimated
o Enter the “Total area” in sqm (square meters = m2) stated by Google Maps
