I run a consultancy firm from Singapore. However, our main operative office is in Shanghai, and all our employees are there. In fact, our business is helping foreign companies to enter China, and helping Chinese companies to operate abroad.
Our business is growing and now I need someone to help me for some admin tasks here in Singapore.
I am looking for a freelance to allocate at least 4 hours per day, 5 days a week, ideally in the afternoon.
I need this individual to work at my place 2 or 3 times a week, while the other days he/she can work from his/her home.
Note that, unlike Shanghai, here in Singapore we do not have a real office, so I work from home. Please do not answer if you do not feel comfortable with this arrangement. I live in a condo in the Seletar Hills area with my family (my wife also works from home) and I work in my study-room.
I am open to flexible hours/arrangements, but I will not consider candidates who are only available on evenings and weekends
- entering transactions into our accountancy system.
- keeping track and filing expenses and reimbursements.
- data entry into our project management system
- data entry into our CRM system
- data entry into excel spreadsheets
- filling in various forms for applications (this is part of the service we provide to our clients)
- other admin/clerk tasks that require attention to detail.
- co-operating with employees in our Shanghai office
I will provide training about how to use our systems and carry out the other tasks, but the individual must already have experience at least with accountancy and accounting software (preferably Quickbooks Online).
Fluent English and Chinese (spear, read and write) is also a requirement.
Note that I am looking for a long-term business relationship with a trustworthy individual, which might also evolve to full time employment later on. Therefore, I will only hire a freelancer after reviewing his/her CV, exchange of call/email, followed by a face-to-face meeting / interview.
