I am looking for freelancers living in the US to watch television programs on portable devices, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and/or PCs. You will be required to document what you do, and how long for, during advertising commercial breaks.
You will need to watch 4x 30-minute episodes, or equivalent, within a 2-week timeframe (total 2 hours of viewing). For example, you can choose to watch 4x 30-minute episodes, or 2x 1-hour episodes, or 1x 2-hour episode. You can watch any program at any time at a location of your choice, and can choose which small screen device to watch on (please note that you can use a different small screen device on each viewing occasion). However, you must watch online catch-up television for this job (e.g., episodes of programs viewable online via the websites of NBC, CBS, Fox, The CW, etc.). You cannot watch programs via online streaming services, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.
You will be provided with a document to complete each time you watch an online episode. You must print this document out, and complete it by hand. A new document must be completed for every episode viewed. The document will include a viewing diary to record your behaviour at the end of each advertising commercial break. Once all viewing sessions adding up to a total of 2 hours of viewing are completed, you will need to copy your responses from the document to an online form, and answer questions relating to your own television viewing behaviour (also online).
The document has more detailed instructions (see attached).
