I am looking for a desktop app in Mac but will settle for windows.
The application will need to be simple to use offer reporting and archive functions as well as the ability to dedupe and when required merge recordsr based on a field name.
The should also retain the current file and produce a exported file to excel, csv txt etc
An example of what i do:
A client supplies me with an excel file (usually) this file has names and address in it. The fields in supplied files can vary a little but not a great deal. 1 file will have first and surname as 1 field the other will have Title, first and surname as separate fields.
I need duplicate the file by first looking for surnames at the same address. Depending on the client request i will either change the name to the The "Surname" family or Mr and Mrs.
