Hi, sales and purchase vouchers off your paper documents into Tally, entered so the ledgers reconcile. The risk on paper is a misread figure, which shows up later as a mismatched balance. How I'd do it: scans first, then entry voucher by voucher against the source, party and ledger names matched to what's already in your company file rather than creating new ones. Hi, your sales and purchase vouchers off paper into Tally, entered clean. What bites is mismatched ledger names quietly creating duplicates. How we'd do it: fix the ledger and voucher naming first, key 10 as a sample for you to check, then the rest in date order with totals reconciled against the paper.
